The Work
A mug begins as a lump of clay. A well-loved chair begins as a few pieces of wood. A brand begins in much the same way, with a story, a purpose, and a hope that it might become something people return to for years to come.
I believe that the best identities feel less like something invented and more like something discovered. I want the identities I create to feel like they existed long before I arrived.
The goal isn’t to create a logo that shouts for attention. It’s to create something that feels honest to the people behind it and recognizable to the people it serves.
That’s the kind of design work I enjoy most.
Every object begins somewhere.

Selected works
Over the past several years I have created identities for imagined places, wonderful businesses, and a handful of projects still waiting to exist.
Together, they form an ongoing archive of the kinds of places, businesses, and stories I hope to keep building.
